WHY IT MATTERS

In June 2025, the Town deployed $33,500 worth of robots from a company that makes both ADA assessment and security surveillance models - using the same hardware and software. Residents were recorded without consent or proper notice. This moratorium prevents future deployments without explicit voter approval.
